**I have stepped down from my position of Asst Organizer of the Original 9-12/Tea Party of the Lehigh Valley in order to run for Congress. With the help of many people, we were able to gather approximately 1600 signatures to get my name on the ballot for the Primary in May. I am running against incumbent Charlie Dent to represent the Republican Party in the General Election for the 15th District of PA. I am running as a Republican because I beleive in the Conservative Values that it used to represent. I am not a member of the Republican Party establishment. I do not have the funding or backing of the local Republican Committees but their promotion of moderate candidates has caused the decay of a once great Party. The idea that Republicans are the fix to the nations problems in 2010 is not the answer. We cannot replace bad 'Tax and Spend' Democrats with bad 'Borrow and Spend' Republicans. Usurpation is the term used by our Fore Fathers to describe Rights or Powers taken or used by the Government that were never granted to them.
Our Fore Fathers believed we had "certain inalienable rights." Our United States Constitution was designed to protect the rights and Powers of the states and the Citizens. To protect these rights from Federal intrusion, the United States Constitution was framed to limit our Federal Governments powers to 17 specific areas. In response to fears of usurpation in the future, the framers clarified our Rights with the Bill of Rights.
Included in these Rights are the 9th and 10th Amendments. The 9th Amendment prohibits the Federal Government from using its granted powers to take or restrict our Rights. The 10th Amendment says any powers not granted to the Federal Government by the US Constitution, belong to the states or the citizens.
The United States Constitution also established parameters for 3 separate
but equal branches of Federal Government. The Judicial Branch (Supreme Court) was designed to keep the Legislative (Congress) and Executive (President) Branches from usurping their respective granted Powers. The Supreme Court has the Power to rule on each Legislative acts to determine whether or not it is Constitutionally valid.
This petition outlines 11 usurpations and which part of the Constitution has been violated. By signing this petition, you are requesting that the Justices of the Supreme Court uphold the Constitution and declare these usurpations Unconstitutional and therefore invalid.

**The petition was returned by the Supreme Court Clerk. The petition was returned with a letter stating that the petiton was "not construed to be a writ of certiorari." It was suggested that I refile as a writ of certiorari or file with the highest state court. The petition is being resubmitted seeking a Mandamus Order.**
