Comments : I can attest to being denied an entitlement. My husband and I are former residents of Arkansas. He had to have some difficult surgeries, which Medicare only would pay 80%. We applied for Medicaid to pay the remaining 20% of his medical care costs. The social worker gave him a temporary three month Medicaid card. So when the three months had expired, we returned to obtain another Medicaid card. But this time, the social worker explained to us that there were several people, who were not supposed to be in this country, who had received entitlements. These people were residing in a six-county area in Arkansas (county seats are in parentheses): Ashley (Crossett), Columbia (Magnolia), Lafayette (Stamps), Miller (Texarkana), Ouachita (Camden), and, Union (El Dorado). These people are draining the State of Arkansas for every cent they can; furthermore, they are taking away jobs from legal American citizens.

I would also respectively request that Executive Order 20/51 be included in this petition as a violation of the Constitution - no one branch of the government should have power over the other branches of government, or have the authority to assume all power in the event of a catastrophic emergency, as ED 20/51 allows. President Bush had no authority to create this order, and President Obama has no authority to retain this order or use it. Congress appears to have no intention of objecting to this order, so therefore the responsibility falls upon the Supreme Court to protect this country from an unconstitutional directive that allows the usurpation of power by the Executive Branch.

Career politicians spend so much effort with the lobbyists of major corporations to fund their campaigns they have forgotten about the people they represent. The amount of money it costs now to run for office has politicians jockeying for the people and corporations with the deepest pocket to support them. This has corrupted both our politicians and the very same large corporations (some of them too big to fail) that are getting the bail outs that we the people have supplied them with our tax dollars.
